The SON 28 is a hub dynamo universally approved for all wheel sizes 16" to 29". It achieves its rated power in a 28" wheel at approx. 16 km/h (SONdelux 19 km/h). It is therefore recommended if a lot of light is needed when driving slowly or if other devices are to be operated or their batteries charged. The new SON 28 is similar in construction and appearance to the SONdelux. In the standard version (non-disc), the flange distance and bearing distance are increased by 12 mm and 10 mm respectively compared to the SONdelux.
