The frame is made of lightweight Reynolds 531 tubing with Campagnolo dropouts (the long version at the rear) and was built to a very high standard by the traditional company Gazelle in the Netherlands. The elaborate decals are virtually flawless and the gold-decorated sleeves are very attractive.
The wheels are of very high quality: Mavic Monthelery Route rims with the legendary Campagnolo Rekord hub set in very good condition and newly centred.
The gear ratio is with 52 in front and 18 in the back very comfortable to ride, the screwed hub is equipped with a freewheel, so no fixgear!
The brake system is made from matching Dura Ace calipers and is very efficient! This rarity was completely rebuilt with high quality components; all bearings were checked for wear and are lubricated with white Teflon grease, adjusted and run "as smooth as butter", so that men around 196 - 200 cm tall can also have a go ...
