German frame art in an irresistible "lilac-metallic" paint
- Design unique piece in ingenious optics - absolutely unique
- in the dream colour -lilac metallic-
- High quality and indestructible Mavic MA 40 wheelset
- Made in Germany
- Excellent top condition after extensive reconstruction
This rarity was completely disassembled into its individual parts down to the last bearing shell and cleaned and polished at great expense; all bearings were checked for wear and re-lubricated with "white Teflon grease", adjusted and run "as smooth as butter".the frame is made of Columbus Zeta tubing with simplex dropouts, it is very nicely lugged and was fitted by Kalkhoff in Germany, the paintwork shines beautifully and the decals are in excellent condition, scratches in the paintwork were repaired with a suitable paint: Mavic MA 40 rims, hard anodized - best stiffness and nice concentricity in the long run. The hubs run very well and the highly polished Dia Compe brakes pack very neatly. 52 front and 18 rear gear ratio is very comfortable to ride, the cassette is equipped with a reasonable Shimano DX sprocket with 2.2 mm thickness and spacers, so no fixgear! Another vintage pearl from "Studio Brisant" and for lovers of fast locomotion, which you probably don't see every day - another highlight in the "VintageNew" version!

Question
Hello, nice bike. I have a kalkhoff 04 1970s. My sticker of the brand-name is not clear and proper anymore. Do you have suggestions were to get real kalkhoff frame stickers?
Kind regards,
Niels
