The frame is made of lightweight Reynolds 531 tubing and was built in Holland in a very high quality and traditional way, the used Professionnel muff set was used e.g. in the popular PX10 frames of Peugeot, Nervex was another well-known muff manufacturer from France besides Bocama and Prugnant. The fork and rear struts are particularly filigree, the frame is extremely light! As a jewel, it now shines in an extravagant "red-brown metallic" 3-coat new paint job.the frame has been expertly stripped of its attachments and thus has an absolutely "clean" look.the wheels are a highlight: new polished Wolber GTX rims with DD spokes and the legendary Campagnolo Rekord high flange hub set. The rare Nervar crank is beautiful, extremely rare and superbly crafted, old handicraft. The internal bearing is also a Nervar and despite its age has almost no signs of wear, the gear ratio is with 52 front and 18 rear very comfortable to ride, the screw hub is equipped with a freewheel, so no fixgear! This rarity was completely disassembled into its individual parts down to the last bearing shell and cleaned and polished in a complex way; all bearings were checked for wear and re-lubricated with "white Teflon grease", adjusted and run "as smooth as butter". After the extensive restoration a unique collector's item has been created, which you will enjoy very much.
