This rarity was completely disassembled into its individual parts right down to the last bearing shell and cleaned and polished at great expense; all bearings were checked for wear and re-lubricated with "white Teflon grease", adjusted and run "as smooth as butter".
The frame is made of Koga Miyata Hardtlite FM 2 tube with Miyata dropouts and was built in very high quality by the traditional company Koga Miyata, now shines in an extravagant "Gold Oxalid" 3 layer new paint.
The frame has been expertly freed from its attachments and therefore has an absolutely "clean" look.
The wheels are very robust and also new: Mavic MA40 rims with DD spokes, hard anodized rims, extremely stiff and durable, the Shimano 600 EX hubs have only made test turns so far ;) The new Continental Sportcontact Safety System tires with a width of 28mm are ideal for the city and very popular with courier drivers.
The gear ratio is with 52 in front and 18 in the back very comfortable to ride, the cassette is equipped with a reasonable Shimano DX sprocket with 2.2mm thickness and spacers, so no fixgear!
After the extensive restoration a unique collector's item has been created, which you will enjoy very much.
