The frame is made of Columbus SL tube and was traditionally soldered in Italy, the frame is a jewel with its fine, gold painted sleeves! after the complex restoration it shines in an extravagant "red-brown-metallic" 3-coat-painting.the frame was expertly freed from its attachments and thus has an absolutely "clean" look.The wheels are for eternity: new very stable and double eyeleted 36 hole Rigida rims with DT Swiss DD spokes and Campagnolo Gran Sport hub set. The gear ratio is easy to drive with 48 in front and 17 in the back, the bolt-on hub is equipped with a freewheel, so no fixgear!This rarity has been completely disassembled into its individual parts down to the last bearing shell and cleaned and polished in a time-consuming process; all bearings have been checked for wear and re-lubricated with "white Teflon grease", adjusted and run "as smooth as butter" The colour combination is exceptional and the exquisite selection of components makes this racer unique!
